| Homecoming 2003 Recap |
|
Once again, this years Homecoming was a great success. On Friday night, Chapter Advisor Keo Sabengsy and his wife Patti hosted a get together at their home in Carbondale. Alumni were also treated to a smiley ad in the daily Egyptian welcoming Phi Sig alumni to the campus. On Saturday, the festivities began early. From 10:00 am until about 5:00 pm, the undergraduate chapter established its' home base in a tent with the Phi Sig flag prominently displayed. The undergrads provided drinks and steaks, brats and burgers to alumni and chapter members who made their way to the football game. Needless to say, the tent remained quite busy with alumni, undergrads, prospective member and the ladies stopping in to say hi. The Salukis made the day even better with their 45-17 whipping of Illinois State. Saturday evenings festivities continued with a bonfire buffet set up by Bill Archer out on His father Richards property. In all the weekend proved that Kappa Tetarton and its alumni are alive and well. The weekend ended with the Association's business meeting on Sunday. Thanks to the following alumni who attended this weekend. It was great to see you and we hope to see you next year! Ron Rodegherio |
