Colony Members and Alumni Gather for Big Brother Night

The night of April 28, 2002 is another great moment for the Colony and Alumni of the Kappa Tetarton Chapter.   On this night, the alumni and their wives/girlfriends met with the Colony members, and their Big Sisters for a night of food and fun.  The evening started off at Big Boys Q'n for some tasty B-B-Q, and some cold drinks.  After dinner, we gathered at Colony Advisor, Matt Gregory's new home for the main event.  The colony members had to ask a series of fraternal history questions to the alumni.  The alumni member who had the correct answer for the question turned out to be that colony member's big brother. (Or, as we used to call them "Pledge Dads")  After each colony member located their Big Brother, everyone gathered in the house to talk about where the colony has been, and where it is going.  In all, the evening was a great opportunity to build brotherhood, and to pass the torch of Chapter history on to a new generation of Phi Sig's in Carbondale.  Alumni served as Big Brothers in lieu of active members.
